During the last two weeks Dawn Chamberlain, Project Manager for BGE, has been meeting with potential participants in Exeter Works as part of the Construction Job Shop to discuss potential vacancies and training opportunities with them.
Dawn said, “The initiative provides access not only to the CSCS card, but also the Level 1 Health and Safety exam, employer mentoring, interview and CV support and work experience.”
Kristina Cousins from PGL Training Ltd said, “With face-to-face delivery restarting whilst working alongside motivated individuals, brings excitement for their next career move within the construction industry. It has been a pleasure to work alongside such an excellent group”.
The next step for these learners on qualifying is to connect them to vacancies or further training.
