Building Greater Exeter has been recognised for its work to support apprenticeships and skills within the city.
The team won an award from the Devon Federation of Small Businesses.
Rosie Bates, Skills Manager for Building Greater Exeter, said: “This award is recognition of the hard work that has taken place over the past 12 months since the launch of Building Greater Exeter, to engage with a wide range of partners and businesses.
“We have worked hard to promote the wide range of opportunities available in the construction sector, and open doors to apprenticeships and training opportunities. The project is about true collaboration across the sector and we look forward to continuing to develop the programme of activity.”
Sue Wilkinson, Devon Development Manager, FSB, said: “We are delighted to recognise the work that Exeter City Council has done to lead the Building Greater Exeter initiative, showing the impact of collaboration with a range of partners and businesses to support the construction sector. Programmes like this demonstrate the value of partnership when it comes to supporting apprenticeships and skills development.”
