Ada Lovelace is known as the ‘first computer programmer’ and next Tuesday 13 October is Ada Lovelace Day, an international celebration of the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine (STEMM).

We hope you’ll join us in celebrating and recognising the fantastic women in your organisation!

As part of the Ada Lovelace Day celebrations, Building Greater Exeter has created videos and fact sheets which promote and recognise the role of women from the Greater Exeter area in STEMM and construction careers, which are available on our website https://buildinggreaterexeter.co.uk/ada-lovelace/

They have been distributed to all the secondary schools in Greater Exeter to be used in their lessons and tutor groups.

GET INVOLVED!

On 13 October Building Greater Exeter will be running a social media campaign to celebrate women in STEMM related careers in construction – Get involved by promoting the female talent in your organisation.

To make it as easy as possible for you, we have prepared these docs, which we hope you will find useful:

If you have case studies already prepared of women in construction, please send them to info@buildinggreaterexeter.co.uk and we will add them to this page: https://buildinggreaterexeter.co.uk/women-in-construction/
