Junior Surface Repair Apprentice

Our team repair everything from damaged window frames on commercial construction sites to floor tiles in £10 million houses and our apprentices are going to be at the forefront of this. Spending the first few years with one of our senior repairers you will be learning our complete repair process from preparation of surfaces to spray finishing, combining techniques from the French polishing and automotive sectors.

Your training will include learning the following practical skills: Masking, sanding, profiling, colour matching, detailing, spraying of specialist coatings, woodgrain replication, texture replication, free hand brush work, surface preparation, surface protection, paint mixing.

We want our apprentices to be our future leaders which is why you will also be spending time with our support team learning different elements of the business from customer support, marketing, finance and how our business works. Towards the end of your apprenticeship you will also spend time with the managing director and operations director to gain an insight into developing and running a national business.

Excellent earning potential on completion of the Apprenticeship programme – in the region of £19k per year.

Electrical Skills Bootcamp

This Technical Skills Bootcamp is designed to enable successful candidates to ‘stand out’ when employers are recruiting for electrical installation apprentices and fast-track to an interview with a local employer.

The programme is open to all candidates over the age of 19 and have been unemployed for less than 12 months.

The programme will start in their Exeter Centre on Monday 26 July for 12 weeks. It will run 4 days per week: Monday-Thursday, 9.30am-4.00pm.

Included in this course:

Level 3 Understand Health, Safety & Environmental Considerations (City & Guilds)
ECS Qualification
Installation of power and lighting circuits
Installation of metal and plastic containment
Working safely with hand/power tools
How circuits are designed and ensuring work is safe
