Ada Lovelace – STEMM Careers

Ada Lovelace Day on 13 October is an international celebration of the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering maths and medicine (STEMM). It aims to increase the profile of women in STEMM and, in doing so, create new role models who will encourage more girls into STEMM careers.

Craft your Future

‘Craft your Future’, developed by the Chartered Institute of Building, is a construction game aimed at 12-14 year olds that takes place in Minecraft. Through it learners explore the methods and skills to become a construction manager, introducing them to a career in construction. Four free Minecraft Education Lessons accessed via the Minecraft Education Platform Subjects covered: Subjects Art and design, Design and technology, Geography Year: Age range 12-14 Duration: 4 chapters, 3 - 6 hrs each
