Outline Brief
An enterprise event looking at a solution to the knocking down of our old building and what we can put in its place- This is a theoretical task to identify in the range of staff involved in a building project from start to finish to enable students to explore the different careers in the construction / building environment.
Teams of students to take on a variety of roles
Architect, local planner, Builder, accountant, HR, IT, Project manager etc….… range of jobs within Building and construction tbc
Business partners will support the event by working within a classroom, supporting, advising, and directing students – giving insights and support. The employer will also discuss their job role with students. This may be the first time students have the opportunity to produce a PowerPoint so some information /teaching/ guidance on this at the beginning of the session would be useful along with expectations
