HAVE YOUR SAY ON SKILLS – ONLINE EVENT
Building Greater Exeter, Building Plymouth and Building Torbay are working together to understand the key demands of the following construction sectors:
• Main contractors
• Local/ regional supply chain representatives
• Housing contractors
• Civil engineering
• Consultants
To help them understand the needs of these sectors they are holding an online Construction and Built Environment Skills Gap Summit 2021 on 23 November between 8.30am and 11.00 am. This summit will target a focused group of industry representatives who can share real-time intelligence about current and future skills gaps and shortages in their sector.
Following the summit there will be a report of key skills gaps in the local area produced; as a collective Building Greater Exeter, Building Plymouth and Building Torbay will build a business case for skills funding investment and work with training providers to respond to this demand to align our messaging to inspire the future workforce.
