Jenson visited Building Greater Exeter at their Construction Job Shop, which is held every Wednesday between 10am-2pm at Exeter Works, in May this year.
He had already achieved a distinction in a Level 3 Engineering apprenticeship and was considering his next steps. We directed him to Services Design Solutions (SDS), a partner of the project.
After a successful interview Jenson was appointed as a Trainee Building Services Engineer, with the view of pursuing a Level 4 apprenticeship, with SDS. He has provided us with the following quote:
“In my first few weeks at SDS, I have settled really quickly and very easily, everyone has been friendly and welcoming. I am currently working with the electrical team, where I have found the work to be both interesting and challenging, which has allowed me to understand what projects SDS work on. The team have been very good with me since the start and have provided great support”
We wish Jenson every success with his apprenticeship and look forward to reporting on his progress.
