A new Construction Job Shop is being launched to promote opportunities across the region and connect jobseekers to vacancies for employment or work experience.

The South West is one of the best performing construction areas in the UK, with lots of new developments in construction and in the pipeline.

In order to deliver these projects an extra 27,200 new workers are needed in the South West by 2023 across a range of managerial, professional, technical and skilled trades.

To help developers meet their skilled labour requirements Building Greater Exeter in partnership with Building Growth South West are hosting the Construction Job Shop on Wednesday, 4 March, at the Civic Centre in Paris Street. Jobseekers will be able to drop in any time between 9.30 am-12 noon to discuss opportunities and apply for live vacancies.
