CONSTRUCTION JOB SHOP EVERY WEDNESDAY!

The annual recruitment requirement in the South West of 3.6% per year is above the UK average of 2.0% and means an extra 41,950 workers will be needed from 2022 to 2026 across a range of managerial, professional, technical and skilled trades.

To help the construction sector meet their skilled labour requirements Building Greater Exeter are offering a drop-in Construction Job Shop every Wednesday at Exeter Works, Dix’s Field, Exeter, EX1 1GF.

Job seekers can drop-in to Exeter Works OR call Jennie Linzell on 01392 265343, any time between 10.00am to 2.00pm to discuss current vacancies, training and work experience opportunities.

We offer 30 minute, face to face meetings, to discuss opportunities in the construction industry and the built environment.

These meetings will be held at:

Exeter Works, Dix’s Field, Exeter, EX1 1GF

between 10.00am to 2.00pm every Wednesday

CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out.

To apply for a CSCS card you are required to pass the appropriate level of CITB Health, safety and environment (HS&E) test within the last two years.

The test is usually taken as a PC-based touch screen test at one of the many CITB approved test centres located throughout the UK.
