Celebrating Women in STEMM and Construction – Ada Lovelace Day 13 October
As part of the Ada Lovelace Day celebrations, Building Greater Exeter has created videos and fact sheets which promote and recognise the role of women from the Greater Exeter area in STEMM and construction careers which are all available to view and download below.
These assets have been designed to be used by schools in their lessons and tutor groups to help them promote careers in construction, as we are not currently able to attend their events in person.
GET INVOLVED – On the 13th of October, Building Greater Exeter will be running a social media campaign to celebrate women in STEMM related careers in construction. Get involved by promoting the female talent in your organisation. We have prepared resources to help you.
CTP South West UK Virtual Employment Event – 4 November
Building Greater Exeter are partnering with Building Plymouth to promote careers in construction at a virtual event organised by the Career Transition Partnership (CTP), who are the official resettlement partner of the armed forces. Are you a construction partner with vacancies suitable for service levers? If yes would you like to join us in our virtual space? Ideally if you have a service leaver in your organisation they can share first hand their experience of transitioning into a career in construction. Please contact us if you are interested or would like more information.
